Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down, and neither do we!

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network played a pivotal role in my becoming a 12 year survivor of Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. Through their Clinical Trial finder service, they helped me find the clinical trial that matched my diagnosis and genetics. I have become a volunteer in the NJ affiliate as the Outreach Chair to educate the public about pancreatic cancer, mentor patients and their caregivers, and serve as a PanCan advocate every year requesting Congress increase federal funding for pancreatic cancer research and treatment. I am fundraising to support pancreatic cancer research, particularly the Early Detection Initiative for developing diagnostic tests to diagnose this cancer as early as possible, leading to better patient outcomes, and to support the programs and services of PanCan Patient Central. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
