 Dear Family and Friends,

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network will again have its annual St. Louis PurpleStride walk. This year it will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The exact location has yet to be determined. PanCan will be holding PurpleStride walks in over 50 cities in the United States on that same day. 

PurpleStride is one of the organization's main fundraisers. For the tenth year, I will participate in this event as a member of the "Walking for Lynn" team.

The mission of PanCan is to provide more information, assistance, and support for pancreatic cancer patients and their families as they cope with this terrible disease. They are also very involved in trying to have more research conducted in pancreatic cancer. One can say that Lynn was one of the lucky ones. She was part of the less than 10% diagnosed who survive five years with this illness. She fought with all she had every day to achieve this. She tried to give back to all the others affected by this disease. The 5 year survival rate has been slowly increasing in the last few years. The 5-year survival rate is currently 13% with the hope of it reaching 20% by 2030!

Lynn wanted us to continue to support this organization in the best way we could. Please consider this charity and cause with your support.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
