Welcome to My Striding for Syl Fundraising Page!

We lost my amazing Dad Syl to this terrible disease in March 2018.  Time has truly flown since he passed and it is crazy to me that it's been nearly 7 years since we lost him and this will be our 7th PurpleStride walk 

Since my Dad passed, we've raised OVER $50,000 for pancreatic cancer research through PanCan. WOW! I know my Dad would be blown away by this.  

He was the kindest, most generous person ever. So, I'm asking you to be generous in his honor and donate and/or join my team to walk with us in Catonsville on April 26, 2025. 

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 13%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
