Hello,

I’m taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

I experienced pancreatic cancer in 2017, treated with chemotherapy and surgeries, and since, enjoying life with friends and family. When I share my story with others, they often share their accounts of family or friends they have lost to this disease. I know of two classmates that passed away to this disease. I am one of a statistic that is is shockingly small. Progress is being made, however we need research bigger, better and faster than ever. Lives can be saved with early detection, and tests being developed just for that.

Can I count on you to get us one step closer to the day where pancreatic cancer patients don’t just survive but thrive?

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
