Let's Keep Raising Money for Pancreatic Cancer Research

Our journey started March 3rd, 2018 when I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  

If you can join our team, please do - we would love to have you! Not sure if we will be walking this year, but we do want to raise awareness again and raise funds to change the survival rate - it remains too low.

When I was diagnosed in 2018, it was at 5% survival rate within 5 years of diagnosis. On March 3rd 2024 I will reach my 6 year diagnosis. As of January 2024, we are at 12%  - not nearly enough, but HUGE strides due to funds raised in recent years. 

For several reasons, this has been a verse I hold tightly:

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.  Isaiah 60:1

Let Him be the light within you and let Him shine bright.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
