Welcome to My Personal Page

Hello everyone!

It’s Sara and I’m here to launch Team Boychik 2022!! I am super excited to kick off our ninth year of Purplestride Philadelphia! If you're new, welcome to our family, and if you're returning, we thank you for joining us again. My family created Team Boychik in 2012 after my Grandfather, Dick Weissman, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Sadly, my Grandfather passed away in July of 2013. Team Boychik has continued to raise donations and awareness in his memory. With your help, we have raised over $300,000 dollars over the past nine years and have been one of the top fundraisers. Whether it be walking with us, donating, or simply taking the time to read about our cause, you have not only helped Team Boychik make progress but you have also supported the entire pancreatic cancer community. We're so grateful for all of your help and thank you for helping us keep our tradition alive! I cannot wait for our tenth PurpleStride Philadelphia!

Stay healthy and safe and don't forget to wage hope!

About PanCAN's PurpleStride

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s (PanCAN) PurpleStride is a year-round national movement that funds life-changing programs and services to accelerate progress for pancreatic cancer patients.

On one powerful day through nearly 60 PurpleStride events nationwide, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is the number-one way PanCAN raises money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
