Welcome to My Personal Page

As so many of you know, I lost both of my parents to pancreatic cancer- just 8 short months apart from each other. Pancreatic Cancer is the 3rd leading cause of cancer deaths with only a 13% survival rate- when my parents were diagnosed the survival rate was only 5%. We are making progress but we still have a long way to go. 

 Since their passing, I have made it my mission to raise awareness and advocate for federal funding that goes toward pancreatic cancer research so we can find a cure.  In memory of my Mom and Dad, I’m asking if you would please consider making a donation or join TEAM LAWHORNE and come walk with us on April 29th, 2024.  
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
 
  It may have been too late for my Mom and Dad, but it is not too late to Demand Better for our Survivors, Caregivers, and for the more that 65,000 people who will be diagnosed this year.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
