My Reason to Stride

Five years into this fight and my return to chemo failed in 2022 so I moved on to a research drug trial in August 2022.  So far, this has shown better results with less toxicity than traditional treatment options. Research, research, research  - for treatment options, clinical trials and better ways for early detection for everyone. Each year since I've had pancreatic cancer, I personally meet more and more people who get this horrible diagnosis and are devastated as I was - and this needs to change!

 Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 12%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. 

I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer.  You can support me with a donation or join my team and stride along side.  No one fights this disease alone. My friends and family have been amazing!!
