Hello,

I lost my beloved husband to pancreatic cancer three years ago...right at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Doug battled this horrid cancer quietly and courageously for 20 months. During that time, he did everything he could--especially the volunteer work to which he was so dedicated--to live his life as fully and meaningfully as possible. 

Poignantly, this year's PurpleStride wiil take place on our wedding anniversary. And how perfect is this? It just happens that I'll be visiting our daughter across the country, and we will stride together in Doug's memory. I can't think of a better way to honor him on our 45h wedding anniversary!

PanCAN's PurpleStride funds vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients. It also gives patients and their families free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services. 

Here’s where you come in. I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal because the more money I raise, the bigger impact we make. I would greatly appreciate a donation of any size to help give pancreatic cancer patients a brighter (and longer) future.
