Welcome to My PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

When my husband, Robert, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer he researched the few organizations that raised funds specifically for pancreatic cancer.  He determined that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network was the best.  We were founding members of the Philadelphia Affiliate which had its first walk in nearby, beautiful Tyler State Park.  We raised $3500 in 2007.  The 5 year survival rate then was a grim 5%.  Today the survival rate is 11%. This year TEAM ARNONE has raised over $30,000 with the hope that a diagnostic tool will soon be discovered.  Robert lost his battle but he left a legacy that lives on in the people who love him and support his cause.
