Welcome to My PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

When my husband, Robert, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer he researched the few organizations that raised funds specifically for pancreatic cancer.  He determined that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network was the best and the only organization that focused solely on pancreatic cancer.  In 2007 were founding members of the Philadelphia Affiliate which had its first walk in nearby, beautiful Tyler State Park and we raised $3500 in 2007.  The 5 year survival rate then was a grim 5%.  Today the survival rate is 11% which is just not enough.   Last year TEAM ARNONE raised over $30,000 with the hope that a diagnostic tool will soon be discovered.  Robert lost his battle but he left a legacy that lives on in his family and the people who love him and support his cause.  Let's keep the momentum going!
