Welcome to My Personal Page

My Grandfather, Keith Jacobs (a.k.a. Big Jake), was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on April 1st. As we have learned more about this disease, we've learned how much work still needs to be done to fight it.

Pancreatic cancer is the world's toughest cancer with a five-year survival rate of just 9 percent. It is typically diagnosed at a late stage and there are no good early detection methods.

On August 3rd, I'll be participating in PurpleStride Louisville, a walk to end pancreatic cancer in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN). I will be walking this year with my grandpa, grandma, mom, dad and sister to honor my grandpa while raising funds and awareness to advance pancreatic cancer care, support and research.

Please help us to reach our goal of raising $2,020 to improve patient outcomes and help PanCAN double survival by 2020.
