Wow, it’s been 6 years!  Barry’s Team was started after I was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer in 2018.  We learned that I had the BRCA2 mutation, a mutation common to the ashkenazi community, which greatly increased my chance of developing pancreatic cancer.  Many in my family have since tested positive, putting them at an increased risk for pancreatic cancer and other cancers.  Surgery, chemo, trials, and today I am in remission!  My continued success in this fight is due to the new treatment options discovered during research!  We cannot do this alone.  We need your help!

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
