My world turned upside down when my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on April 18, 2019. She courageously braved this aggressive cancer before losing the battle on July 11, 2019. Watching the person I loved most in this world suffer so much pain was heartbreaking, but in the midst of her pain she was an example of strength and resilience. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her has been forever changed by her example of kindness and selflessness. I am committed to carry on her legacy through my efforts supporting PanCAN.
I continue to be humbled by the outpouring of love and support in the wake of tragedy. Thank you for joining me to honor my mom now and in the years to come.
