Team Buffy is back and ready for PurpleStride CO!

2023 marks four years since my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She modeled strength and faith each day of her battle. My involvement with PanCAN is one way I am committed to carrying on the strength and faith I saw in her as I continue the fight against pancreatic cancer.


I have immense gratitude for everyone who has and continues to walk alongside me as I navigate life without my mom.


Pancreatic cancer has a survival rate of 12%. While the increase in recent years is encouraging, it is not good enough. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.


PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services. Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
