Wage Hope and Remembering "Queenie"

Pancreatic cancer is on the rise to 12% thanks to you helping me raise money and spread awareness! I’m driven to honor so many I’ve known taken from us too soon-- including Grandma H., Helene C., Debbie, Mark C. Michelle S. and my best friend, my mom, Karen "Queenie" Louth.

I am not leading a team this year, but will be volunteering with my niece on Saturday, April 30th at Buffalo Riverworks -- the second time being involved since surviving colon cancer myself—three years clean! Come out and see us or join the walk on April 30, 2023. It’s free to register!

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
