My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer on April 18, 2019 and tragically lost her battle only three months later on July 11, 2019. She was a loving & devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and teacher and our lives are forever changed for having known her. Her loss left a huge hole in all of our hearts and not a day goes by where we don't miss her loving presence, her infectious laugh, or her beautiful blue eyes. We are committed to honoring her memory and fighting for all those who face this horrible disease now and in the future. 

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers at just 11% and is particularly lethal given that it is seldom diagnosed and treated in an early stage. In 2022, it is estimated that roughly 62,210 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the United States alone and 49,830 people will die. This devastating disease has taken the lives of notable figures such as Congressman John Lewis, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek, and actor Willie Garson.
