Welcome to PurpleStride for Brenda Wood

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. We are Waging Hope DAILY for our mother, Brenda Wood. 

I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer, which this year (2023) will be held in 59 different locations on the SAME DAY!!.Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today? 

Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
