Dear Friends,
As a 4.5 year survivor of pancreatic cancer, this is my 3rd year helping to raise awareness and funding for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN), the leading U.S. nonprofit working to fight pancreatic cancer in a comprehensive way. 

I am both in awe of the medical advancements available and at the same time frustrated by the limitations of current research. Treatment options are advancing but early detection remains elusive.  

In the time since my diagnosis, the 5-year survival rate has improved from around 10% to 13%. This is up from 5% a decade ago. PANCAN’s goal is to increase the survival rate to 20% by 2030. I am raising funds to support the innovation, research, education, and patient care needed to keep moving that % up and stayin’ alive in the meantime! :) Please consider making a gift of any size to help improve more patients' lives. Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
