Welcome to My Personal Page
Hi. My name is Elizabeth and I lost my father, Jeffrey Reiter, to Pancreatic Cancer in 2013. He was being treated locally by TGEN, where due to their cutting edge research and trials his tumors began to shrink. He fought hard for 8.5 months, but eventually passed at home on April 5th with my mom and me by his side. His doctors and nurses where absolutely amazing and passionate about what they do, giving hope for a bright future in the cure for this deadly disease. One can hope that a cure for one cancer could lead to a cure for others.
I have never felt the strength to do this walk. My coworker Angela just lost her mom and she is passionately gathering a group of people to Join Purple Stride and fundraise for her mom, so I've decided it's time to honor my dad and Angela's mom Dede in this effort to find a cure.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. It often goes undetected until its metastasized (Stage 4). This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
