Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

My sister-in-law, Nicki Black formed a team to fundraise for this cause. Our Team Name is KayBob, for Kay Beglau and Bob. Pancreatic cancer claimed their bodies, but their spirits live on. We honor them, and countless others who are affected by this disease.

PanCAN was a valuable resource to Bob after his diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He was able to communicate with people in his same situation, get support from them, and vital information from the organization.

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is a United States-based 501 charity that funds research, provides patient/caregiver support, conducts community outreach and advocates for increased federal research funding for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

I'm joining my family in the PanCAN Purple Stride walk on Saturday, April 27. A fundraising walk is a great tool to help support people who are dealing with this disease. 

My goal is to raise as much money as possible so that PanCAN will continue, and increase, its good work. If you are so inclined,  a donation of any size will help. Select Team KayBob to help us make, and exceed our fundraising goal.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
