When mom was diagnosed with Stage 3 non-resectable pancreatic cancer, I was overcome with emotions... and questions. And there was no bigger question than "how could this be happening to the strongest person I know?” But then I was reminded that “God doesn’t give the hardest battles to His toughest soldiers; He creates the toughest soldiers out of life’s hardest battles.” (Unknown) In this moment of clarity, a photo of my nephew changed it all and Team #SandyStrong was formed!
