I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

I’m taking steps for my mom, Carla, at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

I lost my mom to a five-year battle with pancreatic cancer at 15. My mom was my biggest inspiration because she taught me how to be strong. Not only strong for others but strong for myself! My mom was an active participant in PanCAN and even went to Washington, D.C. to make a difference. I know that I can't bring her back, but hopefully, I can help other people survive the fight and be there for their families.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
