Hello Friends and Family,

I hope this email finds you well as spring begins to make an appearance.

It seems like no time, and an eternity, since Robin died. Pancreatic cancer remains a devastating illness and the fight to end it as critical as ever.

Team Sawyer is again participating in the upcoming national PanCAN PurpleStride event on Saturday, April 27, 2024. This event is PanCAN's biggest initiative to raise money for research and resource development for individuals and families facing pancreatic cancer. The South Carolina affiliate is hosting this year’s walk at the James Island County Park. Robin and I lived on James Island during our brief retirement to Charleston so the location feels especially meaningful.

PanCAN PurpleStride is for everyone! You can join Team Sawyer (click the JOIN MY TEAM button top of page) and participate by gathering donations as a team member, and walking with us in Charleston. You can also join the team and walk in your own neighborhood. Lastly, you can simply donate to me (ANNE) or Team Sawyer (MAKE A DONATION). It all goes to the same place!

Last year your generous contributions resulted in Team Sawyer having an “elite” status. Very exciting!! Now the pressure is really on! Let’s go get this!! Thank you in advance for honoring Robin and supporting such an important cause!

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
