Welcome to My PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down, and neither do we!

I’m going to help make progress, with your support.

My beautiful mother passed away from pancreatic cancer at 90 in 2017. My beloved husband David also passed away from this cancer at the age of 51 in 2019. I will be doing the 5 K walk in Jacksonville, Florida on  April 30 2022 in memory of both. I will do every effort to try to help someone else fighting the battle. We know the survival rate is slim but I remain hopeful for new advances. I also remain hopeful for support to the families. I wear purple for Vivian Beyel and David Randall Fitts who are always in my heart and never forgotten! Fight on!

Please make a gift of any size to get me one step closer to my fundraising goal and improving more patients’ lives.

About PanCAN's PurpleStride

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s (PanCAN) PurpleStride is a year-round national movement that funds life-changing programs and services to accelerate progress for pancreatic cancer patients.

On one powerful day through nearly 60 PurpleStride events nationwide, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together to honor everyone affected by the disease.
