Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down, and neither do we!

We’re going to help make progress, with your support.

Once again  I have joined forces with my dear friend Nancy Peters who also lost her sister Betsy Shirley Brown to pancratic cancer. Both Dianne and Betsy were birdlovers. Our new team name is:  Betsy's Peacocks & Dianne's Titmouse

 We will walk in memory of Dianne and Betsy along with my cousin Margaret Courtin Kell and friend Joseph Sheehan.  Please feel free to add any friend or family member to the list. This is a year-round national movement that funds lifechanging programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

I recently received an email announcing a new line of chemotherapy for patients with metastasized pancreatic cancer. Proof that our efforts are making a difference. 

Every dollar you give means more patients can benefit from PanCAN’s free, one-on-one support, personalized information, service and resources that can make a real difference in their lives. 

Please join our team as a participant, or make a gift of any size to get us one step closer to our fundraising goal and improving more patients’ lives. You can donate to a team member or make a general donation to the team.

This year's event is scheduled for Saturday April 27th, 2024 and will start at Buffalo Riverworks. More details to follow as the date gets closer.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
