Welcome to My PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

My wife, Pat Sylvester, had a passion for life that extended beyond normal boundaries. Her motivation, encouragement, enthusiasm fulfilled me and drove her family.

On May 2021, Pat was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. From June 2021 to September 2021, eight chemotherapy infusions were administered. As expected, Pat experienced the weight loss, the hair loss, the constant nausea.  Pat became a PANCREATIC CANCER SURVIVOR and became enthusiastically involved with the PanCan Association.

On November 14, 2023, Pat lost the battle. This dreaded cancer got the best of her.  She is now with the Lord.

I encourage each and everyone of you to donate, that a cure can be found.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
