Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

In honor  of Jared Melrath and all of the lives he touched, it’s time for us to do something to support research and save lives. Let’s find purpose from the pain! 

I started a team and we are taking steps together at the Maryland PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024. To my amazement when I was researching it this year, to find out it was right here in Catonsville sealed the deal for me. It is meant to be that it is in Jared’s town he loved so much. 

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. Any donation will go towards our team goal and be in memory of Jared Melrath.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
