Welcome to My PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

I was diagnosed with stage 2 Pancreatic cancer in March 2021.  I had major abdominal surgery to remove the tumor on my pancreas.  The cancer spread to my stomach.  I underwent 8 months of chemo and radiation in 2021.  2022 was a good year, no sign of cancer in any of my scans.  January and February 2023 after many tests, it was confirmed my cancer had returned.  

I have been undergoing chemotherapy since March 8, 2023, 1 day removed from my 2 year anniversary of my pancreatic cancer diagnosis.  I have been tolerating the weekly chemo and am scheduled for surgery on December 1.  Unfortunately my cancer has spread to my liver, lung and colon along with my abdominal lining.  Started new chemotherapy this week and pray it shrinks and stops the spread of cancer.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
