To all our friends and family,

As many of you know Glen was diagnosis in July of 2020 and passed away on October 16, 2022. He fought such a courageous battle. If you asked any of the folks that walked beside him in his journey they will tell you throughout all of the surgeries, the tubes, drains, the chemo treatments, CT scans, Dr appointments, weeks on end in the hospital and the endless pain he endured.  He never complained. He always had a smile and asked how YOU were doing. In my eyes, Glen was a real life SUPERHERO. 

Knowing my husband, he would not want to be called a Superhero nor would he want me to put the focus on him, but he would want for us to continue working toward paving a clearer path to early detection, more clinical trials and support for the families that are going through this excruciating cancer.  

So let's focus on all the good that has happened in 2023. PurpleStride country wide raised over 750K dollars. Team Bauer Power raised over 33K , we were in the TOP 5 teams in all the Boston Teams and 38 in the country. This is absolutely amazing for our 1st year. I am overwhelmed and beyond grateful for all the support everyone has given, but please help us to keep the ball rolling.

I was honored to be invited to the Scientific Summit in Boston in September. We spoke to the scientist that are working 1st hand on research to find ways to detect Pancreatic Cancer earlier.

Good things are happening and we need to keep our eye on the ball. We have to continue to help raise money so maybe one day people won't gasp for breath when someone says their loved has been diagnosed with PANCREATIC CANCER,

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
