Dear Friends and Family,
 
Twenty-five years ago, many of you embarked on a journey with me in the fight against cancer.  Little did we know then all we would see, and endure, together on this journey.  All the stories we have shared with each other, the tears & the laughter, all in the name of cancer.  Yet, at the core of it all, the emotion, after 25 years, remains the same… 
                                        
HOPE - HOPE FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

To that end, I will be joining my sister, Janice Kueppers, again at the Los Angeles PurpleStride walk for Pancreatic Cancer on April 26th at the Santa Monica Pier.  Be it this walk, or the Phila. Broad Street Run, the story and the emotions never change, not even after 25 years.  In fact, the older we get, the more personal it becomes.  This 2-month journey still represents to me what people can achieve when we come together for something much greater than ourselves.  Your stories are a testament to the “will” of the human spirit and the strength which comes from each of us supporting the other.  It is the “good” that is found in moments of difficulty and a reminder of what is most important in life…the love of family and friends.  

For me, this year, it is still about my sister - my best friend whom I laugh with, share family time with, talk about life with, make the best memories with, and share our hearts without limit.  We will walk to help bring hope and assistance to those fighting cancer, of all types, through our fundraising efforts.  My sister and our family have been given the gift of more time together.  We are hoping others will be able to make more memories with their loved ones as a direct result of further research, treatments, and trials.

Our team name, Harmony Heals, stems from my sister’s love of music & singing.  She has touched so many lives through her teachings and through her love for music.  I am asking you to help make April 26th amazing for her and for so many fighting this disease.  I have set up a donation page at: http://support.pancan.org/goto/gailstro.  This link will take you directly to my fundraising page.  Checks will also be accepted.  They may be made payable to PanCan and may be mailed to my home address:  80 Steeplechase Drive, Doylestown, PA 18901.
 
Thank you for your continued support and for continuing to help make a difference in the fight against cancer.  It is my hope that our children, and grandchildren, will never have to know this disease, in any of its forms, and that one day, we will all walk (or run) in celebration of having found a cure.  No Surrender, my friends, No Surrender!

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
