Twenty-three (23) years ago, I lost my Abuelita to pancreatic cancer.  A silent killer that manifests itself as different conditions.  We had no clue she was sick and found out five days before her passing. :(

For the last several years, my family and I have participated in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds life changing programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.  My family's team is Abuelita's Frijolitos.

Help me beat this killer! With your support I’ll make progress towards my goal.  Every dollar you give means more patients can benefit from PanCAN’s free, one-on-one support, personalized information, service and resources that can make a real difference in their lives.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
