Let's Beat this Beast!

Once you see purple, you can't unsee it.  Since losing Kathleen almost 2 years ago to pancreas cancer, I have gained a lot of perspective and met many amazing people. Unfortunately, 4 more have gained their angel wings after fighting this disease and they are missed.  Yet there are others who are beating the odds and THRIVING!  This is why funding critical research and early detection is so important. 

We invite you to help us prevent others from suffering. We need much greater awareness of the signs and symptoms (don't ignore them, abdomen pain can sometimes be intermittent, along with digestive issues!), REAL early detection, new treatments and more resources for people to survive this terrible disease.  Together, are making progress! The 5-year survival rate has continued to climb over the last 3 years.  If you are in the 13%, it's a pretty big deal.

We invite you to join Team Atlanta Angels & Crew at PurpleStride. Fighting cancer is hard, but we can have fun, too! Join the 5K walk on April 27, 2024 in 60 cities around the country--no cost to register. It's easy and will give you a boost of positivity.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
