WELCOME TO MY PURPLESTRIDE PERSONAL FUNDRAISING PAGE!
Welcome, friends, to my Purple Stride page. Most of you know that my wife Susie Fisher did not survive this challenging disease, just like so many before her, and there is nothing I can do to change that. What I can do carry on the efforts started by Susie to raise awareness and support to change the future regarding pancreatic cancer for our children, our loved ones, and our friends we know and have yet to meet.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, in large part because there are no screening tools, cancers are caught too late to treat well, if at all, and the treatments available are limited. It is my earnest hope we can put a dent in changing these facts through more and more research.

I am participating in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds lifechanging programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

Every dollar you give means more patients can benefit from PanCAN’s free, one-on-one support, personalized information, service and resources that can make a real difference in their lives.

Walk with us by joining our team, Step by Step (there is no cost to be on the team), raise funds/contribute if you’re comfortable doing so, share this with others.

*The roughly 3 mi walk this year will be at Portland International Raceway with close attention to Covid safety for all.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
