Welcome to My PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

On April 3, 2022 I lost my mom, best friend, mentor and the matriarch of our family to Pancreatic cancer. Along with family I am raising funds for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN). On Saturday, April 29th we are participating in PanCAN's Purplestride, a nationwide event which funds programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. Everyone is welcome to join Team MyJOY and walk with us in Sacramento or simply make a donation to this worthy organization. My main purpose for participating in this fundraiser (besides honoring my mom) is to raise awareness of Pancreatic cancer and the PanCAN organization. PanCAN is a great source to learn about the symptoms, risk factors and treatment options for this awful disease. They also fund research to help early detection and to find new ways to battle a cancer with a very low survival rate. PanCAN is available to help patients and families every step of the way. Please consider joining us or making a donation. There is truly no amount too small to help me reach my goal and to help improve patients' lives.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
