Dear Friends, 

As you know I am a pancreas surgeon and a pancreatic cancer researcher and I am very passionate about this disease that is consider one of the deadliest cancers in the United States and across the world. 

This year we are bringing back our team "Watch Me Whip..Whipple"  to participate in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds lifechanging programs, research and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. Last year we finished second place in the fundraising but today we are aiming for first place but we need your help!

Please join our team as a participant, or make a gift of any size to get us one step closer to our fundraising goal and improving more patients’ lives. You can donate to a team member like myself or make a general donation to the team.

Everyone who joins the team and raises (or makes a self-donation of) $50 or more will receive a PurpleStride 2024 t-shirt at the event. Be sure to use the "Join the Team" link if you plan to be present at the event.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
