I Walk to Honor My Best Friend's Memory

Hello friends, 

Many of you know I journeyed with pancreatic cancer in 2019. It was a rough journey and I am so grateful to have had the love and support of many of you to bless me and my family. 

My lifelong friend, Kim Luna, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer too in 2020. We walk to support her and now to honor her precious memory. 

She was an amazing friend (we were besties since Kindergarten), sister, daughter, mom, and so much more. 

She had a zest for life, was a great keeper in touch, enjoyed cycling, and was an amazing athlete. She is missed so much. Her memory remains strong in our hearts. 

Perhaps, you'd like to help us raise funds to bid adios to pancreatic cancer. Currently the survival rate is 12% which is way too low.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
