Hi Friends,

With love and remembrance, we honor my husband, Ralph Sollie, who passed away on June 4, 2021, just six weeks after being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Ralph was a strong, determined man—someone who faced every challenge in life with resilience and courage. But even his strength could not overcome the world’s toughest cancer.

Ralph had recently retired and was embracing this new chapter of life, enjoying time with his family in Florida, staying connected with lifelong friends, and finding peace at his beloved hunting camp. Though his time was cut short, his spirit and light remain ever present. We still feel him around us and see signs that he is never far.

In Ralph’s memory, we are raising funds for PanCAN PurpleStride, an organization dedicated to pancreatic cancer research, patient support, and advocacy. Pancreatic cancer is aggressive and often diagnosed too late—just like in Ralph’s case. By donating, you help fund research for earlier detection, better treatments, and ultimately, a cure.
