Hi Friends,

I’m taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Bob and I, with my siblings, their spouses and families, will all be meeting in Seattle to participate in the Puget Sound Purple Stride event in honor of my brother Steve Kennedy. Steve lives in Seattle and has been battling pancreatic cancer since his diagnosis in August. 

Pancreatic cancer is a devastating diagnosis in part because this cancer is usually not found until it is late stage. PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

We at "Steve Strong" are proud to be the number one fundraising team for the Puget Sound Purple Stride walk,  and --so far --number 33 nationwide.  To learn a bit more about our team and PanCan generally, click on the Team button (Steve Strong) above.

If you are so inclined you can add your support by joining your local Purple Stride walk or adding your donation to ours.  Steve has received enormous support from friends and family, so we have raised our team goal several times. We are now very close to our latest goal of $30,000. So if you are going to donate, we'd love to have you do it either through our team page or my own page (which goes to the same place).
