Hey everyone,
This post is very personal to me as we all know pancreatic cancer is as rough as it gets. Unfortunately this terrible disease has struck 3 family members in my life. Five years ago we got the devastating news that my father in law, Barry Gottlieb, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had the BRCA2 gene. He has been fighting hard and doing well now on treatments. In March of 2022 my mother, Carolyn Joyce, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage 1 and required a pancreatectomy as well as chemotherapy and is considered in remission after 6 rounds of chemo. Then the devastating news came again in may of this year after having stomach pains my husband Mike Gottlieb got the news of stage 4 pancreatic cancer also with the BRCA2 gen. He is now in the fight of his life going through rough chemotherapy. It has been terrible on my family and the new treatments due to research can be life saving. Please consider donating to help people like my family concur this disease. It is terrible to watch them go through this but no one fights alone!
