Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Fundraising Page, in honor of mike fuhs

My world stopped turning on September 17th, 2022, when my dad, Mike Fuhs, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. My dad was funny, caring, charismatic, generous, and an absolute warrior to the very end. There isn't a day that goes by without me thinking about him and his courageous fight against this awful, awful disease. He endured pain that no family should ever have to witness - and this world isn't as bright without him in it. 

Last year, I decided to join the fight to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride along with my dad's closest friends and our family. TEAM FUHSER raised just over $5,000, but this year we're determine to raise even more. With our ambitious fundraising goal, my team and I would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
