Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

I was diagnosed in July 2021 with Pancreatic Cancer… it was found extremely early, which is rare. I was able to complete both chemotherapy and radiation which allowed me to have the Whipple surgery on Sept. 12, 2022.  

Unfortunately, there is no screening to find PanCan early and it’s usually found once it has spread to other organs. More research is needed!  That’s where PurpleStride comes in… come join our team “Not Today Margaret”!  You can walk with us in Arkansas, find one near you or walk virtually.

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
