Team "Run for Randy"

Thank you for your love and support during Randy's valiant battle against pancreatic cancer.  He passed away 142 days after his diagnosis, which devastatingly is not uncommon with this disease.  

Later this month, on April 29, the Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Network (PanCAN) is hosting its annual PanCAN PurpleStride event.  This is a 3-mile WALK held in 60 locations across the United States.  In Connecticut, the event is at Bushnell Park, in Hartford. 

PanCAN provided us with valuable information and resources during Dad's illness, we want to help other families and patients battling this horrific disease.   Mom, Catie, and I (Tracy) will all be participating in this event and would love to have you join us, to raise awareness and funds to fight Pancreatic Cancer as well as gather to remember Randy.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
