Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

Hey, there!

Not many of you may know but my father Jay Hawe died from pancreatic cancer in 2004. As cancers go, pancreatic is pretty nasty. By the time he was diagnosed, he had very little time left. It’s a disease that often is hereditary so, while I am well, I’m taking steps to end pancreatic cancer, not just for my family but for everyone, by participating in the PanCAN PurpleStride walkathon event on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Parsippany NJ.

I want to make the biggest impact I can  on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set a fundraising goal of $1,000.00– because the more money I raise, the bigger impact we will make! I’ve started the bal rolling with a donation of $100 and I would appreciate a gift of any size to help me meet my goal. And if you’re wondering, I don’t think PanCAN would mind terribly if we exceed our goal!
