Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

I am a survivor!  In the fall of 2022 I was shockingly diagnosed with Stage IV PC.  At stage IV, there is no cure, but there are treatment options to reduce the impact of the disease and prolong your life. I've been receiving chemotherapy treatment since my diagnosis and remain focused on the positives. Although aggressive and exhausting, my treatment is working, and I have more good days than bad, and the bad days are tolerable. I've learned to live day to day with gratitude and remain focused on the present. I praise God for holding me up and guiding me and my family as we move through this new phase of life.

In honor of my friend Linda Farr (no relation) and colleague Joe Hoffman, who have both fought the good fight against this terrible disease, I’m taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024.  PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.  

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money I raise, the bigger impact we make together toward improving the lives of fellow PC patients. A gift of any size to help me get there would be greatly appreciated. 

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need your help to do that!

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
