Hello,

     As many of you know Margie was diagnosed with Stage III Pancreatic Cancer on 11/11/22. We are coming up on two years of survival which is double the expected amount of time. In the last two years Marj has had 6 months of chem followed by 2 months of radiation. We took a break from treatment until her tumor markers started to climb again. Her disease has now spread to her hip, so she is now Stage 4. She is now having chemo every two weeks and will continue with this chemo until it stops working. Her disease is inoperable. She never ceases to amaze me with her toughness and has never lost her bubbly personality or her positive outlook on life. We recently had our youngest, Brad get married and Stacy and her husband PJ blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter Marjorie Jane (Maggie). This cause is very personal to our family. Please give what you can to help rid the world of this terrible disease.  Marj and I are planning on coming to the walk in Indy this year and would love to see everyone who can make it.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
