Hi and thank you so much for visiting my PanCAN PurpleStride Page,

I’m taking steps  in honor of my husband, Rick, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on December 3, 2023. This year's PurpleStride walk will be on April 27 in Sacramento, California.  Last year we raised over $4,000, and I'd like to do that again to honor Rick.

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.  Rick and I used their services almost daily during his two year battle with this cancer.  

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money I raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help me get there.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
