Hello everybody!
As some of you are aware, my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January. This diagnosis has certainly turned our world upside down, but we are confident that he is receiving the best care right here at MGH.
However, pancreatic cancer is quite under researched and there are not a lot of treatment options available compared to other types of cancers. For this reason, we want to be proactive about helping to raise money for research and treatments on this disease.
One of the ways we can do this is to participate in the PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in South Boston, MA.
PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money I raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help me get there.
