Hey, there!

My family and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and need your help to do that!

My dear husband of 29 years, Kelly Wilderman, passed away from Pancreatic cancer (PanCan) on September 13, 2022 after a year long fight.  Kelly truly fought his toughest battle with dignity, grace, humor (because that's how he was), bravery and most of all he fought it with deep faith.  We prayed for a different outcome for Kelly, but this walk and the money this walk raises can help others with this cruel disease to someday have that better outcome.  PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
