I’m taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023 and would love to see you there.  

October 2021 I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.  Chemo started shortly afterward.  July 2022 I had Whipple surgery and as of this date I'm still recovering from it. The good news according to my Oncologist and Surgeon is that I'm in remission. YEAH!

Today the rate of survival is still low, but through funding for research, the development of more effective chemo treatments, and better early detection and awareness, the survival rate has increased to 11%. 

That's not enough!  We can do better! With your support, we can mitigate the third most deadly cancer and give hope to others!
